Andrew & Cathy - Wedding Video - Leighinmohr House, Northern Ireland
“We love our wedding video so much!”.
To say Cathy is both chilled out and family-oriented is an understatement!
Andrew and Cathy had no pre-conceptions about their wedding video at Leighinmohr House and made the decision to hold their ceremony and reception in this stunning venue.
The venue is a bespoke hotel that holds just one wedding per day - so you get the full dedication of the team of staff who have been running weddings here for years. I’ve been to Leighinmohr House a number of times to film a wedding, but only as a second camera operator (second shooter in wedding video speak!). The wedding venue has recently won top awards for its food - and every time I now take a booking for this hotel I start drooling at the memory of the dinner! It is incredible food!
Bridal preparation was at Cathy’s family home, surrounded by her 4 sisters as bridesmaids. She then travelled up to Leighinmohr House to finish getting ready and get into her dress from Pippa Bridal (Coleraine).
Andrew’s groom preparation was nice and relaxed and I sent Hannah Jane as my second shooter who did a great job of capturing the boys getting ready into their suits from The Wedding Centre, County Antrim.
Their uncle (a pastor) was able to marry them in their dedicated wedding ceremony room for more of that special family touch.
The beauty of Leighinmohr House is that it has nicely developed gardens which are great for family portraits and a riverside garden which is perfect for more intimate couple portraits.

Photography was provided by Matthew Allen Photography - who was laid back and brilliant to work with on the day. He’s one of the recommended wedding photographers for Leighinmohr House.
