There’s something truly special about a Belfast city wedding, and Jane & Martin’s day was no exception. From a heartfelt ceremony in their local chapel in Dunmurry to an elegant reception at The Merchant Hotel, their wedding was a perfect blend of classic romance and vibrant city charm.

Jane & Martin started their day with a touching ceremony at their local chapel, surrounded by family and friends. The love between them was evident in every moment – from the joyful glances during their vows to the beaming smiles as they walked back down the aisle as newlyweds.

A Grand Reception at The Merchant Hotel

After the ceremony, the celebrations moved to the luxurious Merchant Hotel in the heart of Belfast. Known for its opulent interiors and timeless elegance, the Merchant provided the perfect setting for their stylish reception.

Before heading inside, we captured the classic wedding shots on the grand front steps – a must for any wedding at this iconic venue. The couple looked incredible, and with Leanne Magill behind the camera, we knew the photos would be something truly special. Inside, the Merchant’s stunning lobby provided a breathtaking backdrop for more portraits, with its intricate detailing and rich colors adding to the cinematic feel of the day.

No Belfast wedding is complete without a little adventure through the city! We took Jane & Martin down the cobbled streets of the Cathedral Quarter, where they stopped off at the famous Duke of York pub. With a pint of Guinness in hand and the lively atmosphere of the area around them, they soaked in the magic of the day while we captured some relaxed, urban portraits. The city’s vibrant street art, twinkling lights, and historic alleyways made for the perfect contrast to the Merchant’s luxury, adding a fun and personal touch to their wedding film and is a unique requirement of my Belfast couples.
