“Wow, what can we actually say, you did such an amazing job of capturing our elopement and it’s so amazing to re-live the moments with our videos!”.

Georgia and Quinn, both from Canada, chose Northern Ireland for their elopement.

With just 9 of their friends they were married by Clare Taylor, Humanist Celebrant (https://www.tayloryourwedding.com/), who (as always when I’ve had the pleasure of filming one of her weddings or elopements), gave a really entertaining, heartfelt and romantic account of the couple’s story.

Before the ceremony at Dunluce Castle, Georgia and Quinn did a first look at the Dark Hedges, famous Game of Thrones filming location, which made for an iconic and stunning backdrop.

Along with Caragh Isla elopement and wedding photographer we photographed the wedding party getting ready at their north coast elopement accommodation which suited such a large yet intimate group, and then we were able to take the couple to Whiterocks beach for intimate portraits.

In their questionnaire (which I get all of my wedding couples fill in), Quinn said that he enjoyed ice climbing and often took Georgia with him on his adventures, so when I suggested that they ascend a large natural island on Whiterocks beach, they naturally jumped at the idea. It made for a fantastic drone shot to end their wedding film and it’s one of those moments where getting to know my wedding couples really paid off - had I asked other couples who I’ve filmed eloping on the north coast before, it wouldn’t have been met with the same enthusiasm!

The couple and their friends went back to Forestside House, Ballycastle to eat the amazing food that had been provided by an outside catering company which I can personally attest was delicious!

After toasts and dinner, everyone continued the party in one of the bars of Ballycastle.
